Enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio every morning with views of the castle ruins in the distance. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even printing our train schedule for the next leg of our trip. Easy to drive into town and avoid parking headaches. would recommend this charming historic home as a base for exploring the area.

The lounge area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. the breakfast provided was amazing, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was close to the main attractions like the beautiful Quinta de Regaleira and the majestic Pena Palace.

This hotel pleasantly surprised me with its old world charm and lush gardens on the hillside above. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms had lovely views. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony, taking in the beautiful surroundings. Plus, the breakfast included was a delicious way to start the day.

The hotel was very clean and offered great facilities, including a huge yard and a cozy and well-designed interior. I also found the location superb; situated on the rocky cliffs above the bustling city centre, it was both safe and tranquil while still being super close to the village and its main attractions. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of continental options to choose from.

The guest house boasts of a great location, just a stone's throw away from the castle, railway station and Moorish castle. The room is vast, comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom. The breakfast is delightful and the staff are helpful. The communal terrace with a fantastic view is perfect for a lazy morning or a tranquil evening.

The service was lackluster during check-in and check-out.
